Your personal and professional skills can be a force for good. I Live Here I Give Here’s annual Board Training Program (BTP) is a full-day immersive course designed to prepare individuals who are interested in taking on board service at a nonprofit organization.

The course topics explore a wide range of best practices in nonprofit board settings. Learn about board member roles and responsibilities, identify which board positions best match your personal experience, and discover the causes most meaningful to you.

Offered on the same day, at the same location, is our Nonprofit Board Seminar (NBS). It offers nonprofit staff and board members the opportunity to begin deeper conversations between their boards and staff within the core topics of the Board Training Program.

This program is ideal for community members who are interested in serving on a board in the future and current board members looking to deepen their knowledge.

2:35 pm: DEIB in Nonprofit Boards
3:45 pm - 5 pm: Meet and Greet with Nonprofit Seminar

Cost
$225 per participant includes lunch and happy hour with beverages and snacks. A limited number of scholarships are available. If you are interested in receiving a full or partial scholarship, please contact Christian@ILiveHereIGiveHere.org before registering.
